Reflection

Hi I am Samuel. I will tell you about my reflection of the goal.

When I came to this camp, I had three goals. But I can't accomplish all of the goals. Now, I will tell you about the goals and reflection.

   My first goal was to end Global Leadership Program for Students camp successfully. However, I got three yellow cards, but I can't get prize. But I knew that only 15 of GLPS Students could get prize, and the more real ending successfully is learning leadership, not getting prize. Also, even I got more than 3 yellow cards, I will not get yellow cards in the next camp and get prize. Also, I will get lots of green cards more than first camp, too. But I will use this goal again in Blog writing, because when I come to this camp in winter, I will be adapted faster in this camp than the first camp. Also, I memorized every rules, and I will not break it.

The second goal was to meet many friends. I met many friends and roommates and classmates etc. Can you see the photo? That is all my classmates. I accomplished this goal because I met many people not only classmates and roommates. I met other people even it's not class 9 or room 204. I usually know all of person except 2 in 5th grade. It will be helpful for me in school, next camp. academies, and anywhere because we can make friends anywhere.

  

The third, last goal is to improve English. As I said, we need to use English from Opening Ceremony to Closing Ceremony. When I met my mom on 2nd week, she said my English became better than going to camp. So, I think I could improve my English. Also, I learned debate, history, writing. My debate, history, writing skills became better than before, so I accomplished this goal well as second goal. I am so thankful to History, Debate, and Writing teachers and TA's, because they improved my English skills and make me accomplished my goal. Thank you!

This photo is about my GLPS life, and I take a photo from 8/4~8/11. There are things what I think about the photo, and why I take this photo.

I take this photo  because I was interested about dormitory. This photo is the dormitory that we sleeps. I take a picture when I entered to Global Leadership Program for Students(GLPS). When I take a picture, I thought it was a big hotel from the mountain, not Korean Minjok Leadership Academy(KMLA)'s dormitory. I really like the dormitory because even the facilities are old, the dormitory is clean and the bed is comfortable. Also, my roommates are kind to each other. Also, the smell is good from the 12th floor, because there is cafeteria and every meal is delicious.

This is the Chungmu and Dasan building. Chungmu building is the left building and Dasan building is the right building. At first, I thought this was not a KMLA building. I thought there was a one big hotel and a two house that is very big and which rich person lives. I like this building because the design is good.

This is the photo of front of Minjok Building. This building looks like a tile-roofed house. When I go to this building, I can experience this building. This building is good because other buildings like Dormitory is made by western building techniques, but this isn't. This buildings made by Korean building techniques

This is one of my roommates. In lunch and dinner time, we can not play sports,so we are bored and unhappy. My friends and I use cellphones. We usually watch cartoons in Internet, or watch fun videos like drama or movies. Also,we play games, too. Only 3 of us have smartphones, so we need to share our phones to other kids. Also,we fight because  of playing games.

This is Tommy and Matthew. I took a shot today this, because there was no important scenes. They are watching photos with their cellphones. 

We need to memorize Japanese fencing. At first, I was very scary because if we didn't memorize it, the Japanese fencing teacher will give us a red card. I was scary. At first, it was hard to memorize, but as I think I will memorize for 20 minutes, I memorized it all by 2 minutes.It was easy!

This is our class having break time. My classmates are tired because they did Japanese fencing class. It is very hard. It makes me sleeping too. In our class, they write funny things on break time or uses cellphone and does web surfing or doing Kakao talk with friends. Some classmates like break time more than class time. 

Creative Writing-Superpower

Genre : Adventure
Character : Jack, his brother, the king and the wicked king, and Jack's parents.
Conflict/resolution : They came out of home/they came home back again.
Country : USA
The time : Future
Age of Jack and his brother : Jack's age is 17, His brother's age is 19
The castle is in one hundred miles far in Jack and his brother lived before.
In that time, some people had superpowers.

Jack and his brother had superpower. The superpower was when they flapped their hand and wait for 5 seconds, fire blaze or laser comes out and kills people or break things.






























They broke lots of things because of that superpowers and their parents hit them with a golf club when they used that. They were so angry that his parents whipped so hard and it was to ouch, so they tried to escape the house to not get hit by parents. And they succeed. When they were escaping the house and get far away. They saw a castle. The king thought they was a wicked king's spy and put them into prison. But when they said they were not the wicked king's spy and they had a superpower because the kind king thought he could win the wicked king. The king lost lots of soldiers and land because the wicked king was so strong, but they didn't had superpowers. They are only fluent at fighting. The kind king started to ready the next battle VS. wicked king. Also, they kicked out two commanders and put the two boys into commanders.

Movie review-The wizard of OZ

 Today, I read a book about the wizard of OZ. The genre is classic fiction and fantasy. The director of the movie is Victor Fleming. The main characters are Dorothy, scarecrow, the tin man, the cowardly lion, the wizard of oz, Glinda, the wicked witch, and the munchikins. The setting takes place on Dorothy's farm in Kansas, munchikin Land, the yellow brick road, emerald city and the witches castle.

The movie starts by Dorothy swooped by a tornado. Dorothy wants to go home, and she knew that she could go home by a wizard of oz.

 

When she was going to meet wizard of oz, she met a scarecrow. The scarecrow wanted to have a brain. Next, she met a tin man who wanted a heart. Last, she met a lion how was coward.

Everybody went to the Wizard of oz's castle(emerald castle.)

But the wizard was bad and evil, so she was going to kill Dorothy. But Dorothy spilled water on her, so she was melted and died. 

Then they could go to home and they knew that it was not wizard of oz, but they could get what they wanted. And then, Dorothy come to real home. Her family told her she was sick and dreaming, but it wasn't. 

The good thing about the movie was that it gave lots of lessons about leadership, and the story was fun, but the bad thing was the every scene was not color and some were black and brown. Also, it was little bit childish, Overall, I like the film because it had good lessons about leadership and the story was fun.
